Brown Sugar

Ingredients

Ratio of

1 cup of white or raw sugar

1 tbsp organic molasses

Method

Place both ingredients in a mixing bowl and beat (a stand mixer is best so you can walk away and let it do its magic). The process will take about 5 minutes.

Scrape down the sides and stir up the bottom at least once throughout the process, as some molasses may stick to the bowl.

Do not panic as I did when I first made it. You may think it is not going to work, and then suddenly it starts to change and blend together.

This is a double batch

Note:

You can adjust the ratios to make a lighter or darker brown sugar.

Store in an airtight container for long-term storage
