Highs and Lows of Vegetable Gardening

The Highs
On the weekend, I found some time to spend in my vegetable garden. I was hoping to conduct a stock take of my seeds in preparation for starting my seedlings in July and see how everything was growing. To my delight, I had two beautiful cauliflowers and cabbages, some late white onions and spring onions that have managed to mature in this cold weather, and bunches of parsley for processing.

I dried the parsley, and while the dehydrator was working for me, I added a layer of bay leaves. My white onions and spring onions were sliced and frozen for convenience, and the cabbage and cauliflower will be used in meal preparation throughout the week, including cheesy cauliflower soup (recipe coming soon).
The Lows
To my dismay, the rabbits had also enjoyed my vegetable garden and eaten all but two of my last succession planting of cauliflowers, cabbages, bok choy seedlings, and a few of my peas, which are about 10cm tall. Luckily for me, I had one more succession planting of seedlings in my hot house, which I planted out as replacements. In this planting, I have included some Broccolini as my original broccoli was determinate and not indeterminate (My fault for not checking). This will now leave a gap in my production flow and reduce the amount of produce for gifting.
I have no issues with sharing a portion of my food production with the wildlife, but there is a limit to my generosity. Some strategic rabbit control will be implemented over the coming weeks to minimise the damage and future losses.
Does anyone have a contact for Elmer Fudd?
